Job Details:

Purpose

To perform general office duties in the Bridging Disciplines Office

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors
• Data entry
• Assistance on communications projects
• Updating handouts and materials
• Updating BDP Canvas pages and additional projects.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, punctuality, dependability and friendliness. We expect our student staff to work their scheduled hours but we are flexible when absence is absolutely necessary.​

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a professional office and experience with Microsoft software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Some experience working on the UT campus is preferred but not required.

Salary Range

• $12.00 per hour

Working Conditions

• May work around standard office conditions.
• Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
• This position is based in Austin, TX and is required to work on campus.

Work Shift

• Monday through Friday between 9am-12pm and 1pm-4:30pm.
• We will work out a work schedule to provide the most coverage in the office.
