Description
At Central Oklahoma Eye Associates, we are an ophthalmology practice servicing the surrounding communities of Oklahoma City, OK. To help us continue to achieve our goals, we are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Medical Assistant/Technician to join our growing dynamic team! This is a Monday - Friday, Day Shift position...No Weekends and No Holidays!

Some of the duties include, but are not limited too:
- Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.
- Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications.
- Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers,
- Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.
- Proficient with EMR computer programs.
Requirements
Candidate should:
- 3 years of experience in Healthcare/Medical setting
- Have some Refractions experience
- Experience in checking overall vision, identifying chief complaint
- IOP
- various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)
Other skills include:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong hospitality skills and patient care focus
- Attention to detail
- Tech savvy with strong Microsoft Office knowledge
- Certification is a plus
