Job Description
AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for our large construction project in Chicago for a Subcontractor Prequalification Administrator.
- Works under limited supervision
- Responsible for the comprehensive subcontractor prequalification review process for assigned location | projects
- Review prequalification documents uploaded into COMPASS, Hunt’s 3rd party pre-qualification software, for completeness.
- Follow up with subcontractors on missing items.
- Request renewals when needed.
- Prepare pre-qualification packages for approval, including Dun & Bradstreet and MK Denial reviews
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze a variety of subcontractor financial statements and assess risk.ics.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Risk Management and Safety on reviews and approvals.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
- BA/BS Finance, Business Administration or related curriculum and 2 years of finance/accounting experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
- Experience in project accounting
- Experience with CMIC or COMPASS or other database systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction related contracts.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with MS Office products
- Accounting and or Finance background and experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with subcontractors.
- Basic knowledge of CSI codes and associated scope risk.
- Ability to analyze and present data for the purpose of evaluation by providing basic insights of analytics, identifying red flags or areas needing additional information
