Minimum Education Required: Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as an instructional designer, course developer, or similar or related position
Position Summary:
Members of the Curriculum Department work together to create and maintain a library of high-quality content delivered via online platforms to insurance and securities business unit customers. The Curriculum Manager plays an integral role in the planning of new course development, approval of new products, analysis of existing course data and content to identify revision needs, and performance of quality control.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
• Analyzes effectiveness of content and assessments and, as appropriate, makes recommendations related to revision needs. Including, but not limited to:
◦ Regulatory updates and requests
◦ IOR/SME input
◦ Qualitative data (student feedback, surveys, escalations, feedback report, CSS input)
◦ Quantitative data (e.g., surveys, pass rates, duration, course exam scores)
• Scopes new development projects (e.g., planning, topics, outline, effort hours based on development needed) to support execution of the curriculum development schedule.
• Manages and performs quality control of new and existing products to ensure alignment to learning objectives, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and licensing exam content, as appropriate and dependent on product.
• Manages the course submission process through approval
◦ Prepares compliance documentation required for course submission
◦ Communicates with compliance and, as needed, regulators
◦ Ensures implementation of course revisions identified during the approval process
• Performs course development work as needed and time permitting
Minimum Requirements:
• 3+ years of recent experience as an instructional designer, course developer, or similar/related position writing content and assessments for online or asynchronous delivery.
• Above-average proficiency in Word, Excel, and intuitive web-based applications.
• Background in the industries served by ADB and experience in web-based learning delivery desired.

Technical Skills Required:
• Experience with eLearning content authoring tools
• Microsoft 365 Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint)

Internal and External Interaction:
This position interacts with peers both in and out of department and their immediate manager on a regular basis. They interact with subject matter experts (SMEs) directly on a regular basis in a large geographical area. They may interact with Managers in other departments, customers, and work with associations.
