Physician - Nocturnist Hospitalist - Full Time - Grand Rapids, MI

As a Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician at Corewell Health West, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage acute and chronic medical conditions, and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Essential Functions:

• The nocturnist primary role is overnight admissions.
• The Nocturnists work shifts at both Butterworth and Blodgett Hospitals. 
• The Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) cover the floor calls.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and case reviews.
• Mentor medical residents and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Excellent schedule of 155 shifts per year.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree
• LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
• LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
