About the role

Overview

Join a collaborative and cohesive team in the Commissioner's office as an Administrative Services Coordinator II for the Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA). We are currently seeking a strong administrative professional who enjoys working on a variety of tasks and supporting staff across a large organization.

Responsibilities include:
- Onboarding/Offboarding staff
- Maintaining key documents for the department such as organizational charts, floor plans and equipment tracking spreadsheets
- Processing mail
- Answering main phone line and transferring calls to appropriate contacts
- Technology support (fax lines, phones, software, applications, computer equipment set-up etc.)
- Entering help-desk tickets and user account requests
Candidates should be competent in the following areas:
- Excellent communication skills utilizing diverse modes of communication that convey clear and concise understanding to various audiences
- Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments and shared goals
- Strong customer focus through building relationships and providing customer-centric solutions
- Subject matter expert in MS office, particularly Teams, OneDrive, Excel and SharePoint
- Strong attention to detail

Environmental Factors

Work is performed in a standard office setting.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

 

OR

 

One year of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

 

OR

 

Two years of full-time college level study OR an associate's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration,
