Senior Controller

To deliver our mission, we are looking for a team-player colleague who will use his/her skills to smoothly handle financial and management reporting, costing, and strategic decisions such as sourcing/ business cases and tender prices, preparations, and finalization of estimates and budgets. In this role you will:

• Work with other Finance Controllers, Head of Finance IO and Leadership team on the Site to implement a short and long-term financial and strategic plan
• Responsible for the planning and reporting processes, including monthly financial closes, forecast, budget, and strategic planning processes
• Prepare/validate sourcing cases for strategic decisions
• Analyze financial and operational results to understand business performance and suggest improvement actions
• Develop and maintain an accurate activity-based costing system
• Purchase price variances, yield, substitution, productivity analysis
• Forward-looking forecasts and identification of issues that can cause underperformance
• Develop in collaboration with key business partners clear action plans to achieve expected performance and/or take advantage of business opportunities
• Collaborate with Group accounting on statutory accounts and tax declarations
• Support internal controls and lead external financial audit assignments
• Reporting, performance management: build up and make use of a digital dashboard to detect abnormalities and drive improvement of key indicators
• Prepare standard Zentiva monthly reports and commentary
• Prepare an annual budget, quarterly estimates, and Long Range Plans
• Standards computation
• Responsible for bill of materials and bill of routine for products manufactured on the Site

To be successful in this role you will need:

• University Degree in Economics or Finance
• Min 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Production controlling experience/consulting is a must
• Strong business acumen, able to be exposed to Site head, Head of industrial, Head of controlling, CFO, be strong and defend his/her opinion
• Strong financial skills required to be able to level with financial consultants in case of vendor due diligence preparation
• Partner management - negotiate, accurate communication
• Capacity to influence and manage matrix stakeholders
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to solve complex problems, a timely and precisely
• Ability to work and collaborate in complex organizations
• Strong skills in SAP or ability to learn, planning and reporting tools, MS Excel advanced user
• Excellent English level - use on a daily basis
