This role ensures product is consistent with brand, fit, & quality standards and seasonal
design concepts for all categories. He/she/they leverage skills in grading/specifications, fit,
construction, stitches, yarns, and pattern making in the fulfillment of these objectives.
Position Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Flat Knit Design Team and leadership team to align on seasonal design intent as it relates to fit and construction.
• Create partnerships with cross-functional team members to develop strategies,
maintain deadlines, and resolve issues.
• Forward thinking and strategic planning with regard to management of the product
development process through pre production.
• Participate in fittings, update tech packs: including detailed technical sketches, measurement specifications, and construction details.
• Evaluate samples for vendor execution of fit and construction.
• Identify opportunities for cost engineering improvement and raw material optimization
• Support teams in resolving complex fit and construction issues while upholding vendor
and cross functional relationships.
• Daily communication with factories and Esprit team members for all technical construction and spec.
• Participate in all applicable company wide initiatives.
• Drive consistency in methodology and product.
• Ensure fit consistency within each style category and across vendors.
• Ensure the company quality standards are competitive thru market assessment and evaluation.
• Keep up to date with industry developments for example: construction, yarns, stitches, new techniques and processing.
• Create strong moral with constant positivity and still able to provide constructive feedback to team when needed
Position Requirements
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge in Sweater yarn, knitting stitch, construction, and finishing
• Some men’s knitwear experience will be a Plus.
• PDM / PLM System proficient
• Outlook / Teams / Excel / Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop proficient
• Strong sense of urgency & ability to work independently
• Organized, accurate and articulate

Compensation Range $100,000-$125,000 per year. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
