What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...
- Assist Billing Manager/ VP of Administrative Operations with ongoing and special projects as needed
- Assist Billing Coordinator with ongoing and special projects as needed
- Retrieve electronic EOB (usually a pdf file) and save in BSCS Third Party Checks folder
- Retrieve remittance files (835)
- Enter batched deposits once received from BSCS
- Distribute money and post denials from non-electronic (paper) remittances to appropriate claims
- Check eligibility of clients on a weekly basis, via online provider system
- Enter intake and enrollment assessments into EIM/ESM
- Work closely with program staff to resolve billing issues
- Collection Follow-up - Call Insurance Companies to resolve Claims
- Work independently and as a member of a team
- Maintain strong attention to detail
Schedule: 10 hours per week; flexible schedule Monday - Friday

Requirements
Qualifications/Credentials
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Third party billing experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
