Nevada State University actively maintains an open pool of qualified individuals to be selected on an as-needed basis by the department to fulfill part-time temporary instructional needs and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Nevada State invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person, online or hybrid courses in the Speech Pathology Program. Course teaching could be undergraduate or graduate level, and include, but are not limited to, speech sound disorders, audiology, neurology, speech and hearing communication science. Clinical supervision opportunities are also available at our Nevada State on-campus clinic and/or our RiteCare clinic in downtown Las Vegas. Individuals who are collaborative and innovative in their approach to preparing speech pathologists are strongly encouraged to apply.

Benefits of being a part-time speech language pathology faculty include access to CAPCSD training CEUs, opportunity to participate in the Center for Teaching and Learning, library access, support for technology, and access to clinic resources.

Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.

Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Courses range from 1-3 credits.
