Job Summary
NetApp seeks a highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to serve as the Chief of Staff to the EVP, Business Technology & Operations. As a strategic partner and trusted advisor, you will ensure the efficient operation of the EVP's office by driving key initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and facilitating effective communication across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, analytical and organizational skills, with a strong background in business technology and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Support:
- Act as a strategic advisor to the EVP, providing insights, recommendations, and support on key business initiatives.
- Assist in the development and execution of business strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage high-impact projects and initiatives with timely delivery and alignment to strategic objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align, resolve issues, and drive project success.
Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee the daily operations of the EVP's office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all activities.
- Develop and implement processes and systems to streamline operations and improve productivity.
Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as liaison between the EVP and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and review communications, presentations, and reports for the EVP.
Meeting and Event Management:
- Work closely with the Executive Admin to plan and coordinate meetings, events, and engagements for the EVP, ensuring agenda, logistics, and follow up on action items.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data and metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the EVP.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on business performance and strategic initiatives.
Team Leadership:
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Support the professional development of team members through coaching and feedback.
Special Projects:
- Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by the EVP, ensuring successful completion.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Chief of Staff or equivalent role to a C-suite executive; preferably in the high-tech industry.
- Ability to understand and anticipate needs and act with limited or no direction.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise communications.
- Proficiency in productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), calendar management (e.g., Microsoft Outlook), and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheets, Microsoft Project).
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven track record of building trust and relationships at the executive level.
