About the role

Summary

Performs receptionist and clerical duties for assigned nursing units under the supervision of the Clinical Manager/Director. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

 

 

General Functions:

  • Performs receptionist and clerical duties in support of unit/department operations
  • Processes and coordinates communication between internal and external customers
  • Transcribes orders and maintains order management system
  • Assembles and maintains patient medical records
  • Organizes and coordinates unit/department workflow operations
  • Exhibits service excellence and demonstrates Studer Principles and “must haves”
  • Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively
  • Maintains safe environment
  • Participates in Performance Improvement activities
 

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Graduate of a unit clerk/secretary course
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One year as a secretary
