Receiving Lead - Day Shift

Are you ready to take charge in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment?

We're seeking a dedicated Receiving lead our team in efficiently unloading shipping containers and trailers, ensuring all inbound freight is meticulously handled for storage and shipping.

As a Receiving Lead, you will:

• Supervise the unloading of shipping containers and trailers for warehouse storage.
• Ensure receivers accurately separate cases and place them on pallets.
• Drive teams to ensure products are damage-free and prepped to high standards.
• Operate powered industrial trucks to move materials and deliveries.
• Maintain the receiving department's automation system (knowledge of automation systems is a plus).
• Oversee the proper documentation of all receiving activities.
• Ensure all sanitation and safety requirements are met during shifts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience with material handling automation in an automated warehouse is a plus.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Keen attention to detail in prepping freight for storage.
• Proficient in math, language, and reading.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• High attention to safety to prevent injuries and promote a safe work environment.
• Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and record-keeping.
• Execute tasks accurately, timely, and safely.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Continuous walking, climbing, and standing.
• Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 90 feet.
• Adaptability to temperature changes in a warehouse environment.

Shifts:

• Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including weekends.
• Availability for overtime as needed.
