Job Duties
The Deputy Clerk Wage position is assigned operational responsibilities in a high volume, fast paced office with frequent deadlines. Ensures the court’s instructions are executed and legal documents are prepared with accuracy and in accordance with state and local policies.
This is a wage position with no benefits. 20 hours per week during the hours of 8AM – 4:30PM; $20.00 per hour.
Duties include preparing detailed court documents in accordance with established guidelines, extensive filing, and date entry, answering phones, assisting customers, receipting payments and other duties as assigned. Must possess the ability to professionally interact with diverse customers and various agencies providing excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Requires knowledge and skills of general office operations and procedures (i.e., typing, filing, data entry, and receipt of payments). Verbal and written communications skills, automated records and Microsoft office experience a plus.
Additional Considerations
Business courses preferred.
