In this role, you will develop, maintain, and evolve global sales ramping programs to accelerate Time to Productivity for various roles within the revenue team, ensuring they are equipped with the right training, tools, and resources for success. 

Everyday you will drive the logistics, registration, scheduling, and execution of these ramping programs, while also collaborating across teams to support broader Revenue Enablement initiatives, including Sales Kick Offs and accreditation programs.

To thrive in this role, you must have at least five years of revenue enablement experience, exceptional program management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across multiple groups, leveraging your deep understanding of sales methodologies and processes.

About the Team:

The Revenue Enablement team at Illumio is a strategic growth engine that engages the entire sales performance eco-system to ensure buyers are engaged at the right time and place, with the right assets, by well-trained client-facing staff. We do this through analysis and working across sales, marketing, and others to determine the best ways to change behavior with the right training, coaching, and tools & resources to ensure a high-performing team is fully equipped for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Global Head of Revenue Enablement, the Senior Revenue Enablement Ramping Program Manager will develop, maintain, and evolve global sales ramping programs to meet the market-specific needs of the global revenue team and accelerate Time to Productivity.

  • You will be responsible for designing and developing a role-based, 12-week ramping program will teach, reinforce, and prove capability and capacity of the new hire to succeed in their role by testing knowledge retention, assigning tasks, and attaching key performance metrics. Roles will include field sellers, ADRs, Systems Engineers, Customer Success, sales management, channel account managers, and other revenue-impacting roles.

  • You will drive ramping program logistics, registrations, pre-work assignments, scheduling, and metrics, and execute a calendar of ramping program events. And you will support the rest of the global Revenue Enablement team and assist with other projects as necessary (ex: Sales Kick Off, accreditation programs, etc.)

  • This position necessitates strong program and project management and communication skills, and consistent achievement of defined goals and objectives. As you will work cross functionally with multiple groups, collaboration and communication are key attributes of the ideal candidate.

  • The high-level, high-impact programs this individual will be responsible for will help ensure the success and efficiency of the revenue organization, and the success of the candidate will directly affect the overall success of the company.

The ideal candidate is a jack of all trades, is dynamic, diversely talented, and has the ability to have fun and enjoy the work they do. Your diverse set of enablement skills will be utilized outside of ramping programs and will provide the opportunity for contributions in other areas.  You should possess strong business acumen and the ability to drive work to completion with solid project and program management skills.

Experience:

  • Five years of revenue enablement experience with proficiency building and managing onboarding programs including program design, implementation, and measurement for a software or cloud vendor (Cyber Security is a plus)

  • Experience in blended learning and active learning instructional design and development, and Virtual and Face-to-Face workshop facilitation and coaching

  • Experience developing and evolving role-based learning curricula to meet organization specific needs

  • A deep understanding of sales methodologies and sales process

  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand Illumio’s business, sales model, platforms, and services

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, project management and time management ability with a deadline focus

  • Emotional intelligence to navigate ambiguity, take initiative and work collaboratively to deliver insights, provide solutions to challenges and recommendations based on analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence, guide, and work with diverse groups to achieve joint objectives 

  • Pro-active and driven to solve problems and find innovative solutions

  • A profound sense of ownership and accountability is required
