SUPERVISES:                                                Security Officer, DR Security Supervisor, Telecommunicator, Shuttle Bus Driver, Van Driver

JOB SUMMARY:

To monitor DR Security Supervisor, Security officer, Telecommunicator, Shuttle Bus Drivers and Van Drivers teams’ performance, in order to provide a safe and pleasurable environment for guests and employees.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values   
• Provide excellent service to guests and handle customer complaints
• Respond and secure all Emergency Management situations
• Represent property in civil and criminal proceedings
• Perform property evictions/exclusions as necessary
• Supervise and adjust security operations throughout the property
• Perform routine floor observations on employees and guests to ensure a safe hazard free environment
• Oversee all medical calls
• Conduct company investigations
• Assure accuracy of reports prepared by Security Officers
• Verify and escort currency transfers
• Provide excellent service to guests
• Work closely with surveillance
• Work closely with local Police Department, Fire, and EMS service providers
• Implement and comply with internal controls
• Schedule DR Security Supervisor, Security Officers, Telecommunicator, Shuttle Bus Drivers, and Van Drivers
• Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved with projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
• Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees and guests
• Other duties as required to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers
• Exhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating team and maintaining high morale
• Train subordinates, providing each with the knowledge, development, and appropriate direction to perform his/her responsibilities
• Provide continuous positive coaching for development of employees and appropriate corrective action when necessary
• Ensure timely and accurate performance appraisals and accurate work history entries
• Responsible for, or actively participates in, the initiation of personnel actions including but not limited to interviews, training, candidate selection, terminations, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required
• One-year supervisory experience preferred
• One-year experience as Security Officer required
• Valid driver’s license required with no more than one (1) DUI convictions or 3 or more moving violations, 3 or more traffic citation convictions in the past 3 years (from date of conviction) or conviction for suspension or conviction for at fault accident within the last 3 years required
• CPR/AED Certified required
• Bilingual preferred
• Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
• Complete knowledge of all internal controls
• Complete knowledge of all emergency procedures
• Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
• Excellent record of leadership
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Willing to learn and be adaptable
• Attention to detail/observant
• Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
• Comfortable under surveillance

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift up to and carry 150 pounds
• Must be physically capable of performing MACH Controlled Force or any other security related training
• Must be able to be on feet/stand for 8-hour shift
• Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp items
