Cardiorenal Sales Rep - Mentor, OH 

 

The Cardiorenal Sales Representative is accountable for implementing the sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal products consistent with Bayer s compliance standards as well as all applicable legal requirements for those key targeted Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems within an assigned territory. The Cardiorenal Sales Representative will pull through access and drive utilization for approved CV products with appropriate patients.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Cardiorenal Sales Rep, are to:

  • Build and develop professional relationships with (but not limited to) cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, primary care, pharmacy staff, within assigned customers;
  • Drive appropriate utilization of approved Cardiovascular products. The Sales Representative works closely with other Bayer commercial associates to generate pull through within local payers, community HCP s;
  • Leverage knowledge of diabetes, nephrology and CVD, the marketplace, applicable competitors, industry and cross functional activities/plans to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges;
  • Provide relevant, thoughtful input to other commercial colleagues (eg sales leadership, regional account managers) in regard to strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region;
  • Develop and implement effective customer specific territory plans with their Regional Sales Managers. Communicate insights to internal stakeholders;
  • Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential;
  • Understand fully the assigned customers  product and business needs and works to meet those needs while adhering to all of Bayer company ethics and compliance standards;
  • Anticipate potential barriers to achievement of goals and proposes responsible solutions for success;
  • Effectively handle customer objections and exceed customer expectations with the value they bring to Physicians;
  • The primary location for this role is Residence-Based in the US.
  • Visa sponsorship may be offered for this role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree;
  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare or a relatable sales environment;
  • Proven track record of high performance; can clearly demonstrate how you are customer obsessed;
  • Ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws;
  • Quick learning agility, with a curiosity and savviness to come up to speed on the product and industry;
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and computer capabilities valid driver's license and clean driving record required;

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree;
  • Experience in the promotion of pharmaceutical products;
  • Product launch experience;
  • Virtual Sales Experience;
  • Local relationships with HCPs and understanding of local market.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $96,536 to $144,804.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
