Job Summary
Job Description SummaryResponsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, trends, and opportunities. This position is in the finance group that supports construction activities for the Florida region. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Core Responsibilities
Approves transactions, evaluates opportunities, and makes recommendations regarding project progress and future business opportunities.
Has a deep understanding of the numbers and metrics that drive functional department results and leverages them to monitor business results and goals.
Independently analyzes variances against the budget or forecast and proactively reviews underlying data trends and business drivers.
Proactively identifies opportunities within existing reporting suite and ability to make necessary enhancements or work directly with original builder to implement changes.
Periodically hosts meetings with leadership to team and show ability to function with minimal oversight of direct leadership. Anticipates questions relative to next layer analysis and have supporting information ready.
Demonstrates ability to story tell with data by developing presentations that make complex data easy to understand. Ability to explain trends, patterns, and forecasts in clear and concise ways.
Incorporates advanced data query and integration methods to increase productivity and accuracy, basic familiarity with automation tools.
Analyzes and tracks key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements.
Performs analysis of financial statement accounts and specific projects, as advised.
Develop more complex forecast/models that enable faster and more accurate analysis. Utilizes knowledge to incorporate more thorough analysis to predict outcomes with greater accuracy.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
