Responsibilities

 

 Lead safe and effective group exercise classes (land or water). --------------------------------------------------Educate participants on proper form, anatomy, contraindications, and modification of exercise moves.--------------------------------------------------Show respect and responsibility for class equipment.--------------------------------------------------

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent, RequiredPreferred: Associate?s degree or Bachelor?s degree in exercise science, health promotion or clinical area strongly preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:Required: A minimum of six months experience in teaching group exercise classes.Preferred: A minimum of one year experience in teaching group exercise classes

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDDrivers License | Valid Drivers LicenseBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider Required: A nationally accredited certification from a recognized organization or equivalent specialty certification such as ACE, ACSM, AEA, WaterArt, IFTA, AFAA, or Yoga Alliance.PREFERREDPreferred: A certification from ACSM is preferred.
