We’re looking for a Clinician Team Lead for the First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Program to join us at 41 Montebello Road in Pueblo, CO 81001.

 

 

What You’d Be Doing

 

As a Clinician Team Lead, you would be providing excellent leadership to members of the FEP Program.  You would develop strategies, plans and goals that support the mission of the company and carry them out in an organized and productive manner.  Provide exception knowledgeable support and motivation to the team and community.

 

Under the supervision of the Director of Outreach and Engagement or her/his designee, FEP Team Lead/Clinician’s responsibilities are: 

 

  • Provide FEP culturally and linguistically sensitive services consistent with the needs of transition-aged youth and young adults when they are first diagnosed with psychosis (FEP);
  • Participates in all aspects of training and technical;
  • The FEP Team Lead shall provide community education and assertive outreach to identify and engage individuals and families as quickly as possible when psychosis first begins;
  • Participates in team meetings and state meeting to promote clients progress toward the teams joint clinical goals;
  • Develops initial psychosocial assessments, diagnosis formulation, crisis plans and treatment plans;
  • Participates in the hiring of other key positions for the FEP;
  • Provides comprehensive and culturally responsive mental health and SUD services for youth experiencing first episode psychosis and their families in the home, community, or office setting. Provide consultation, supervision, leadership, training, management, crisis response, and support to other staff of the FEP program;
  • Provides individual, family, or group psychotherapy to CARE team clients under the supervision of the CARE team Director, until FEP program is near capacity (10-35 clients);
  • Assists in the development, setting, and monitoring of the program budget;
  • Knowledgeable about behavioral health programs, evidenced-based interventions, and the unique needs of transition age youth, young adults, and their families. Understand and promote trauma informed principles and be committed to heath equity;
  • Experience working with diverse teams to identify policy needs, plan, analyze and solve complex problems, as well as have a passion for early intervention and expertise implementing behavioral health programming in community setting for transition age youth, young adults, and their families;
  • Participates in setting and evaluating program goals, standards, and outcomes;
  • Monitors and updates program descriptions, policies/procedures for a FEP program;  
  • Develops and maintains a professional working relationship with other community agencies;
  • Willing to work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of the clients and families;
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
