What's the role?

Team:The Privacy Engineering team is looking for a Data Scientist - Working Student to deliver the next generation of our Privacy by Design process, which will focus on automating privacy compliance tasks. 

 

Privacy Engineering is part of Product Trust team that works on addressing Privacy, Security, and OSS from the earliest stages of the product development lifecycle. You will work with a global team to build tooling, drive improvement to compliance, and inform best practices for development teams. 

 

• Responsibilities:

• Work alongside experienced professionals with practical knowledge of machine learning, data analytics, and AI.
• Support daily data science team activities, including:
  • Data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing
  • Building and optimizing machine learning models
  • Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA)
  • Developing dashboards and visualizations for insights
• This is a time-limited internship with approximately 450 work hours to be completed over 3 to 6 months, depending on your availability.

Who are you?

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Basic programming skills in Python, or SQL, with experience in data manipulation and visualization.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn).
• Strong knowledge in data structures and algorithms, solid mathematical skills
• Ability to independently analyze data and propose data-driven solutions.
• A self-starter, eager to expand expertise in AI, analytics, and big data.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
