As a Field Operator – Pressure Pumping (Vessels), you will play a key role in executing offshore pumping operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will operate specialized equipment; support rig up and rig down activities and contribute to delivering world-class service quality for our customers.
As a Field Operator, you will be responsible for:
Operating company equipment on a marine vessel to deliver products, service tools, and platform services.
Participating in rig up and rig down activities, including connecting hoses, high pressure iron, and equipment to customer wellheads.
Independently directing rig up/rig down operations and operating pumping equipment for slurries, specialty chemicals, and acidizing treatments.
Conducting laboratory testing such as water analysis, fluid rheology, proppant sieve analysis, and acid titration.
Maintaining inspection logs, regulatory documentation, and well data records.
Ensuring equipment maintenance and readiness for upcoming jobs.
Executing sand control and acidizing operations with increasing complexity in the Pressure Pumping group.
Conducting all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, and Core Values.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a High School diploma or GED.
Bring 2–3+ years of Pressure Pumping experience (land or offshore), specifically in sand control and acidizing.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work on offshore mobile vessels.
Be able to work on the 14/14 rotation.
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Have experience with:
Chandler 5550 Viscometer
Fann 35 Viscometer
Preferred qualifications:
General knowledge of surface equipment and chemicals.
