Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) has an opening for an MRO-E Project Discipline Manager (PDM). The position requires a thorough understanding and practical experience of the Engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul processes.
What You Will Do
- Provide management, coaching, and mentoring of team members, as well as technical oversight for the team.
- Be responsible for maintaining the discipline health of his team by planning and providing for training plans, OJT, and proficiency advancement.
- Identify the need for and plans projects, and independently executes multiple tasks.
- Perform as an engineering liaison, representing Pratt & Whitney in front of our military customers while supporting the Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT’s) responsible for Fan and High Compressor hardware.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. with 10+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Overhaul, and/or Program Management in the gas turbine industry OR
- An advanced degree with 7+ years’ of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and/or Master's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills and the ability to function across a wide range of disciplines and management levels.
- Possess strong communication, presentation, leadership, and organizational skills.
- A working knowledge of SAP, P&W Quality Systems, configuration management process.

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)
Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.
Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
