Job Description

We are currently hiring a temporary courier to support our operations in the Bay Area for approximately 10 hours a week. This role is ideal for individuals seeking short-term, flexible work and who are familiar with the local area.

Candidates must have a personal, registered vehicle, a driver’s license and a clean driving record.

The Courier is responsible for picking up client sample packages from a Eurofins location in Sunnyvale, CA and delivering them to our Burlingame location.  The Courier ensures that all samples are delivered in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.  The Courier must maintain an open line of communication with Project Managers, Analysts and other management staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver packages promptly and securely
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Handle items with care and maintain accurate delivery records
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients as needed
• Other related duties

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. 
• Valid Driver's License
• Own Vehicle Required: Candidate must have a registered vehicle in good operating condition and a clean driving record
• Must be able to pick up samples in Sunnyvale, CA at 12pm, Monday - Friday and deliver them to Burlingame.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
• Good communication skills
• Ability to navigate on roads and highways

Additional Information

Compensation: $17.43 per hour plus mileage and toll reimbursement

Position is temporary; approximately 10 hours a week. Hours may vary.

Pick-up of samples in Sunnyvale is scheduled for 12pm, Monday - Friday with ability to work weekends when needed.
