Job Description

About the Maintenance Coordinator Role:

As Maintenance Coordinator you will be a pivotal member of the Facilities and Maintenance team and be responsible for providing exceptional support to both internal and external customers, while effectively working with a cross-functional leadership/supervisory team to coordinate and facilitate the maintenance and repair of Chromalloy San Diego’s equipment and facility.  The incumbent will work in the Maintenance and Facilities Office and will be responsible for the administrative support of the Facilities and Maintenance Department.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters, with discretion, and display strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities Include

  • Researching replacement parts and materials for production equipment and facility.
  • Contacting vendors to locate/verify replacement parts for equipment.
  • Obtain pricing and availability for replacement parts and material for maintenance.
  • Track orders for all replacement parts and materials.
  • Coordinate with shipping & receiving department on the delivery and pick up of parts and equipment.
  • Organize and maintain spare parts and materials for the maintenance department.
  • Using CMMS software, initiate, document and close maintenance requests and actions.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance service providers work while on-site.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

If you have a High School Diploma along with at least 5 years of experience in a fast paced, collaborative administrative support role, then joining Chromalloy is a great career move!     In addition to your education & experience, as a team player you will also have the following skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a large, fast paced environment with similar job accountabilities.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills specifically using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability supporting multiple managers and helping them to be more efficient and organized.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to various Company data systems.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Associate degree or Office Administration Certification preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $90,000
