Job Description
Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in the Nordics area we are currently recruiting for a Senior Scheduler to join our Data Centre team in Norway.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of working on complex large scale construction projects as well as within one or more of the following : Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, BioTech, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Logistics, Manufacturing, Chemical or similarly complex asset type.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the on site scheduling team to review internal schedules, review contractor's schedules, analyse, review, validate and report on any time impacts, scope change impacts or delay enabling early identification of risks
- Maintain and monitor master plan schedule
- Prepare and monitor tasks ensuring satisfactory realization of project requirements against the project schedule
- Lead the development of the tender requirements and contractual requirements, including contractual KPl's in relation to schedule accuracy, achievement of key milestones and timely submission of programmes for the Core Contracts
- Develop and manage the integrated work breakdown structure for the project
- Integrate various contract packages into master plan schedule
- Review contractor’s submitted schedule and make recommendations to client
- Prepare regular internal/external weekly and monthly progress report for management and client
- Monitor progress on key delivery milestones and report on compliance in line with the agreed Baseline Programme
- Interact with contractor and verify the project data to update project schedule
- Develop mitigation plans
- Assess any contractor’s extension of time claim and prepare defense claim report
- Put forward recommendation report for any contractor’s EOT claim
- Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to project schedule
- Work out site logistic planning for project
- Prepare and propose ‘micro-management’ schedules for critical elements of work
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with a focus on complex construction projects, and preferably previous Data Center experience.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Experience in coordinating multiple sources of schedule performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project status reports required for large scale projects
- Strong managerial and stakeholder management experience
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Develops good working relationships with project team
- The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions
- Availability for on-site work
