Collaborating with sales and engineering, we align technical needs with business solutions, fostering lasting customer relationships.</p> <p><strong>Partner with the best</strong></p> <p>As a Senior Solutions Engineer, collaborate with teams to utilize Akamai technologies for impactful customer solutions. Build relationships with new and existing customers while delivering solutions that serve millions. Act as a trusted technical resource, supporting engineering and business teams to meet customer needs effectively.</p> <p>As a Solutions Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers.</li> <li>Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate.</li> <li>Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customers' needs.</li> <li>Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).</li> <li>Building technical expertise in Cloud Computing to support Akamai's overall business growth.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Do what you love</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Have experience working in a customer-facing technical solutions pre-sales or post sale role.</li> <li>Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the internet protocols and cloud-based technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)</li> <li>Have interest in and understanding of online cybersecurity threats and technologies.</li> <li>Demonstrate experience with presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.</li> <li>Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment.</li> <li>Have a proficiency English level.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Work in a way that works for you</strong></p> <p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
