We are looking for a School & Youth Programs Intern to join our team this summer! The School & Youth Programs Intern will work directly with the Senior Director of Youth Programs to increase awareness and registration for the NYC Teenspace program. They are responsible for co-facilitate in-person and virtual presentations to students, teens, and school staff, and help plan and hold focus groups and info sessions on various mental health topics. Additionally, they assist with operations, including outreach, mailing lists, and scheduling across teams. The Intern will collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to drive marketing efforts across social media channels and the network of schools.

*This is a hybrid position based in NYC at Talkspace Headquarters. You will need to commit to 1 day in the office each week.*

Internship Details:

  • Duration: June 2nd, 2025 - August 22nd, 2025
  • Commitment: 20 hours per week
  • Projects: You'll work on 2-3 key initiatives, with one serving as your final deliverable. 
  • Compensation: Our compensation policy ensures a minimum of $15/hour or the legally required local minimum wage, whichever is greater, to maintain fairness across regions.
  • Mentorship: You'll be paired with a Talkspace mentor to guide you throughout the program.

What You’ll Do

  • Teenspace Program Support
    • Work directly with our Senior Director of Youth Programs to help with NYC Teenspace utilization (ensuring more teens know about this program and increasing the number of teens who register).
    • Co-facilitate in-person and virtual presentations to students/teens and school staff.
    • Help plan and hold focus groups and info sessions, workshopping with teens across a variety of topics related to mental health.
    • Help with the operation; outreach, mailing lists and scheduling across teams.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to drive marketing efforts across social media channels and our network of schools.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

About You 

  • Rising juniors and seniors in undergraduate degree, or enrolled in a graduate program.
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
  • Commitment to working 20 hours per week during the summer.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for being in the details, ensuring every document, project, or experience is on-point and on-brand.
  • Strong communicator (verbal & written) with the ability to listen, articulate positions, advocate, and execute ideas.
  • Creative thinker who loves solving problems and works well in a team setting.
