We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our team for a Winter/Spring Co-op/Internship. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vaccine/biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing processes.

• Utilize Lean tools such as 5S, Capacity Management, and others to enhance operational efficiency.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support process improvement initiatives.

• Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and Power BI dashboards to track key performance indicators.

• Leverage AI tools to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and process optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, industrial organization, or related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027.

• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

• Will require some travel to Morristown, NJ or Swiftwater, PA to attend Internship Program events.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and experience with Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Capacity Management).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in process improvement.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute.
