As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. This unarmed, primarily driving post offers the opportunity to interact with a variety of people while monitoring the area and responding to any security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor the location for any unusual activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license in the job state is preferred for primarily driving posts.
• Applicants should be comfortable working at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks, as this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
