Purpose Statement:
Support the Capital Equipment Service Commercial Excellence and Sales functions by leading and facilitating sales analytics, price, sales quota, revenue & commission activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sales Analytics
- Evaluate sales performance and identify opportunities and risks
- Provide observations & recommendations to business leaders
- Support reporting development to conduct analytics
Strategic Pricing
- Design and lead capital equipment service price strategy and execution
- Manage pricing processes and system data
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop prices by leveraging margin analytics
Forecasting & Planning
- Model and forecast service contract volumes, sales and revenue to be used in strategic and financial plans.
- Works directly with finance team in the preparation of the monthly closing process on sales and provides relevant analysis of variance to plan and last year
- Design and generate reports for tracking sales performance including percent to quota, sales growth, PO pending, average selling price, and contract mix.
- Provide monthly data and analyses on sales and revenue to sales management and identifies significant drivers of performance
- Supports FP&As in the annual financial plan and forecasts by preparing relevant templates and managing all financial data into the financial systems
- Key participant in any FP&A processes, including the preparation of quarterly business review
Quota & Commissions
- Develop, Design and generate sales incentive compensation plans/programs and territorial sales quotas for service sales personnel.
- Work with sales management to allocate quota and budget to all levels of the sales force.
- Create sales incentive cost strategic plan and annual forecast/budget.
- Develop analyses to measure effectiveness of incentives and territory design.
- Work with IS to troubleshoot systems, data, and processes to ensuring optimal utilization of them and make recommendations to management to improve processes and support for the sales force.
- Generate tools, or enable other teams to generate tools, for tracking compensation performance with SPIFs, P&L, and contests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Sales Analytics and Operations experience
- Financial Forecasting & Planning
- Ability to coordinate, facilitate & validate data across various systems
