Position Summary...
As a Sr. People Manager supporting our dynamic eCommerce Marketplace team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy that fuels our rapid growth and innovation. Partnering closely with business leaders, you’ll develop and implement HR initiatives that align with organizational goals and the evolving needs of our digital marketplace. In this strategic role, you'll use data-driven insights to support workforce planning, drive organizational effectiveness, and deliver impactful talent solutions. You’ll lead efforts around performance management, employee engagement, change management, and talent development—ensuring our teams are empowered, agile, and ready to meet the demands of a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. -Serve as a strategic partner to eCommerce and marketplace leaders on all HR-related matters.
-Design and execute talent strategies that drive performance, engagement, and retention.
-Use HR analytics to guide decision-making and shape organizational initiatives.
-Lead change management efforts to support business transformation and scaling.
-Champion a high-performance culture through coaching, development, and feedback.
-Collaborate cross-functionally with other HR teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation) to deliver cohesive people solutions.
-Report directly to Sr. Director People, eCommerce Marketplace.
What you'll do...
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs developing and communicating business plans and priorities removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance providing resources identifying performance standards measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly developing contingency plans and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training mentoring assigning duties building a team-based work environment establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations providing recognition and rewards coaching for success and improvement and ensuring belonging awareness
Promotes and supports company policies procedures mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application ensuring compliance with them and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans programs and initiatives consulting with business partners managers coworkers or other key stakeholders soliciting evaluating and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness and participating in and supporting community outreach events
Defines the human resources strategy to support assigned business area by understanding strategic business goals and objectives advising on the execution of organizational change initiatives assessing human resources implications of various strategies providing guidance to business leaders on human resources issues
