Part-time Teller I - North Knoxville Branch

Role: The Teller I Part Time assists members and potential members with their Credit Union financial needs in a prompt, friendly, and efficient manner, both in person and on the phone, following current service model standards. The Teller I Part Time refers members to appropriate Credit Union personnel for services outside the scope of given responsibility.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year cash handling experience or six months or more customer service experience Required
• Minimum 1 year Teller experience Preferred

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Required

Other Skills Required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing ability
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and ust be accustomed to working with deadlines
• Must possess mathematical ability to perform very basic math skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Must be detail oriented
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking
• Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound
• Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Lifting - Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
• Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word, those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly
• Visual Abilities - Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery
