Variable shift (6 weeks on days, 6 weeks on nights), weekend and holiday requirements.

LCH 11P Hematology/Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit:The 11th floor of Levine Children's Hospital is our pediatric hematology/oncology & bone marrow transplant unit. We service all pediatric patients including young adults being cared for by our pediatric specialist. We have 16 hem/onc beds and 8 bone marrow transplant beds along with a MIBG suite. We are part of a fast paced and innovative program offering unique services including phase 1 trials and MIBG therapy. The staffing ratio for hem/onc is ideally 1:3/4 and for bone marrow transplant ideally 1:2.

Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.

Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader.
