We have an opportunity for a full-time Clinical Support Technician to join our Pediatric Department at our St. Louis Park Clinic.

- Schedule: Hours vary between 8am-7pm Monday through Thursday, and 7am-5pm on Fridays. We are also open some Saturdays from 8am-12pm.
Department Overview:
Our Pediatric department provides a range of services from well-child care to day of acute visits.
We care for children with complex medical, psychosocial problems, and acute and chronic childhood illnesses. We also provide developmental, behavioral, nutritional assessment and guidance, and parent education.
This role works alongside other LPN’s. medical assistants, triage RN’s and reception staff to provide quality patient care to approximately 150 patients each day.
Position Summary:
Service excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and is the responsibility of all employees. Teamwork is the norm and all employees will be held accountable to work as effective team members. Provide/support patient's care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards, ICSI guidelines, and PNHS policies and procedures. In addition, may function in supply aid and/or sterilization capacity. Maintain a safe work area and ensure that it is adequately stocked, cleaned and organized. Implement cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications:
Must meet one of the following:
• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience OR
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program and current Nursing Assistant Certification
Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling
Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
Preferred Qualifications:
One or more years of healthcare experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
