Shifts Available: Days (8am to 5pm)

Location: Healient Clinic- Kansas City, MO

 

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Echocardiography Technician (Echo Tech) to join our reputable clinic in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms and assisting cardiologists with patient evaluation. Your work will play a crucial role in diagnosing cardiac conditions and ensuring optimal patient care. Join our dynamic team and contribute to improving heart health in the heart of Kansas City.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

 

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic examinations, including M-mode, 2D, Doppler, and color Doppler imaging.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists to review findings and discuss potential diagnoses.
• Maintain and ensure the calibration of echocardiography equipment for precise imaging.
• Prepare comprehensive echocardiogram reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Manage patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the process, and addressing any patient concerns.
• Participate in continuing education to remain current with technological advances and clinical practices in echocardiography.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 

 

• Completion of Echocardiogram program within 90 days of hire or equivalent training required
• Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current required
• Able to assist physician with TEE testing required
• Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred
• Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred
• Effective July 1, 2017 ARDMS or CCI Required within 90 days of hire
• Proficient computer skills
