We are looking for an ambitious candidate to join our Team as the Project Manager. You will get to work with outstanding leadership and field teams! Our Project Manager oversees multiple projects throughout the life of the project.


Supervisory Responsibilities: Our Project Manager assumes accountability for the development all project details including assembling and managing multifunctional matrixed project teams across business platforms. This candidate will report to the Director of Operations.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and execute all phases of projects in accordance with project management processes, policies, guidelines, and corporate governance.
  • Establish, track, and control project cost, scope, schedule, and risk to deliver on targets.
  • Develop detailed project plans and ensure project scopes, team responsibilities, milestone dates, and the procurement strategy are clearly stated for all assigned projects.
  • Coordinate the development of conceptual and detailed designs.
  • Develop  and execute public involvement plan during the project permitting phase.
  • Interface with external customers and department manager throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide project progress reports to management and other stakeholders in accordance with an approved communication plan.
  • Manage the bid process and contracts for external engineering and construction services.
  • Negotiate with vendors and contractors regarding work scope changes and ensure that all contract commitments are completed on time per the scope of work and technical specifications.
  • Manage construction management team activities in conjunction with field operations.
Requirements

  

  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel 4 weeks at a time-minimum 75% of the time
  • Ability to analyze information, form conclusions, and provide meaningful solutions
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others, building teams and conflict      resolution
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management
  • Three years related professional experience
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP in cost tracking and forecasting preferred
  • Working knowledge of Primavera scheduling or other project management software
  • Experience in project scheduling, cost controls, tracking and reporting methodologies

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be able to work beyond normal operating hours as determined by business demands.
  • Must be able to travel throughout Company locations
