As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities following Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or crowd control during peak times or special events at the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
