The Software Engineering Solutions group is looking for a software engineer to join our team located in Austin, TX. We are a new group formulating an overall software strategy for Analog Devices. The team works with many technologies from RTOS through full Linux systems and continuous testing.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Collaborate with large organizations spread across the globe
Communicate effectively to solve complex software problems
Develop and test embedded firmware, such as peripheral drivers, subsystems/middleware stacks, and BSPs
Contribute to open source
Produce clear and concise documentation
Minimum qualifications:
Experience developing embedded firmware running Linux and RTOS (Zephyr, FreeRTOS, etc.)
Experience in C, shell scripting, and some source code management (git)
Some experience with interpretive language such as Python
Some experience with embedded Linux build system (OpenEmbedded, Yocto, OpenWrt, etc.)
Experience with embedded boards (flashing, debugging, etc.)
Knowledge of Linux and aware of how to navigate a shell
Communicates well on multiple mediums (email, slack, calls)
Familiar with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub actions, pipelines, etc.)
Self-starter
