Job Description
As a Roofing Projects Specialist with OMES you will enjoy:

Job Details
- Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
- Support the Capital Assets Management
- Salary up to: $75,000
Responsibilities
- Work with the Agencies to determine the need for roof repairs and determine the best option to complete the work.
- Evaluate roofing system options and determine appropriate roofing system for a new and existing roof.
- Create accurate drawings of existing roofs suitable for bidding and verifying quantities of materials.
- Write and review roofing specifications.
- Review and manage roofing project quotes, ensuring cost efficiency and accuracy in scope and materials.
- Oversee project schedules, coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Manage project documentation, maintaining organized records of all correspondence, contracts, and inspection reports.
- Inspect roofing projects to verify compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, providing clear and accurate communication regarding project requirements and updates.
- Collaborate with, providing project updates and addressing concerns to maintain high satisfaction.
- Review and manage roofing project quotes, ensuring cost efficiency and accuracy in scope and materials.
- Conduct quality checks on project paperwork to ensure completeness and correctness, spotting any inconsistencies that may affect the project's success.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- This position works in a comfortable office setting in front of a computer for some of the workday.
- Regular travel to construction sites will be required.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise levels, dust, and construction hazards is common.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and high-visibility clothing will be required while on-site.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or other related field.
- 3 years of experience in commercial roofing, project coordination, or construction management preferred.
