GP Recycling is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to be the driving force behind business success. Location: We are ideally looking for candidates based in Green Bay or Atlanta. This position offers a flexible hybrid environment.


Our Team

Our team of experienced Analysts owns cost, quality, and logistics in partnership with the sales team and GP Mill Operations. They utilize data and their deep industry knowledge to make decisions to create the most long-term value. This Supply Chain Analyst will report to the Manager of Analysis and collaborate with other Analysts within the Internal Business group.


What You Will Do

  • Partner with sales executives to obtain appropriate supply cost and quality
  • Optimizing multiple supply points with best demand locations and transportation options while managing unloading and inventory capacity
  • Understand, develop, and own quality expectations within your supply
  • Establish, maintain, and nurture business partnerships with facility leaders and internal customers to ensure productive and profitable operations while challenging the status quo
  • Developing benchmarks, KPIs, and metrics including consumption levels & forecasting
  • Leading and managing concurrent projects and demonstrating effective prioritization skills for maximum value creation 
  • Communicate solution-driven changes to key business stakeholders
  • Leverage data to formulate optimal solutions and seamlessly implement them
  • Travel to facility and customer sites as needed (typically less than 15% of the time)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in an operations, supply chain/procurement, or finance role
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to create and modify spreadsheets using formulas, utilizing VLOOKUP and PivotTables
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing data in support of business decisions

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in business management, finance, logistics or supply chain
  • Logistics experience
  • Experience with root cause analysis
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or production environment
  • Experience in planning, forecasting, or procurement
  • Experience presenting reports, proposals, plans, etc. to leadership in written or verbal communication
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
