The Senior Real Estate Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting branch originators by analyzing complex commercial mortgage deals, preparing detailed loan submissions, and facilitating the underwriting process. This position involves direct interaction with borrowers, conducting market research, and assisting in the marketing of our products and services to potential clients, ensuring a seamless and efficient loan process.

· Review and analyze the current and historical income and expense of a property together with all additional and relevant information, to underwrite a property’s NOI and to determine the size, terms and conditions of a loan.
· Prepare a loan quote sheet capturing various types of financing options provided by various types of debt providers.
· Compile apartment market research data and analyze market conditions, rental and sale comparables, prepare market analysis, and factor findings into loan underwriting, sizing, and terms.
· Prepare formal detailed loan submissions for various types of lenders which include writing a narrative report recommending, justifying and describing not only the loan request but also the relevant and supporting information, as well as lender-specific requirements.
o Assist with the marketing of loan opportunities to various lenders, including the tracking of lender responses and feedback.
o Answer questions from lenders generated by the submission and research, analyze and provide additional information on request.
· Review draft copies of the Appraisal, Engineering and Environmental Reports and factors in their findings to loan underwriting and structuring.
· Assist with Pipeline data entry, ongoing pipeline management, and the pursuit of related lending opportunities.
· Interact with clients and capital sources throughout the lending and underwriting process.
· Assist branch originators with relationship development and in their marketing of company products and services.
· Assist in the arrangement of, and participate in property inspections, including lease audits and visits to rent and sale comparables.
· Assist in the closings of loans.
· Work with Investment Sales partners to prepare debt guidance and financing materials for client BOV presentations and Offering Memorandums.
· Other duties as assigned.
We Stand for Excellence, so to achieve success in this role you should have:
· Experience underwriting multifamily real estate loans and/or investments with a solid baseline understanding of multifamily real estate fundamentals, including market dynamics and analysis.
· Basic experience understanding the purpose for and findings of appraisals, engineering reports, and environmental reports.
· Baseline understanding of the multifamily lending and loan brokerage process.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong work ethic.
· Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
