Security Officer Part-time

Efficiently and effectively safeguards property that belongs to the hotel, associates and guests.  Oversees the safety and well being of guests and associates.

Qualifications

1. Perform a continuous foot patrol of the entire property while maintaining constant communication with PB, the MOD or other associates as required.

 

1. Respond to and investigate all hotel-related accidents involving guests, associates and vehicles/property.

 

1. Investigate all criminal activity occurring on the property coordinating all activities with the Police Department as necessary.

 

1. Monitor associates to ensure rules and regulations contained in the Associate Handbook relative to parking, safety and security are followed.

 

1. Monitor associates’ ingress and egress to and from the property.

 

1. Provide escorts for associates with cash banks and late night associate departure.

 

1. Oversee departmental check-in and check-out.

 

1. Efficiently handle lost and found items in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.

 

1. Assist guests in solving unusual problems.

 

1. Follow department and hotel fire prevention and emergency procedures.

 

1. Maintain a chronological log of activities and observations.

 

1. Supervise parking of all vehicles.

 

1. Immediately report all discrepancies to the Manager on Duty/General Manager.

 

1. Complete all necessary reports as directed.

 

1. Immediately report all violations of hotel and company policy to immediate Supervisor or Department head.
