A Day in the Life
Are you a technically minded, proactive individual with a passion for learning and collaboration? We are seeking an Extrusion Technician II for our Danvers, Massachusetts location.This position offers a unique opportunity for a production operator to expand their skillset into a technician role, while being trained and mentored by an experienced team.
As an Extrusion Technician II, you will work closely with a skilled team, contributing to troubleshooting, process optimization, and maintaining seamless operations in the extrusion area.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
- Collaborate with team members to address production challenges and implement solutions.
- Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Assist in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, issues, and resolutions.
- Provide technical support and training to peers as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Minimum Requirements (Must have!):
- Two years relevant work experience
- High school diploma
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have!)
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Good mechanical problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting.
- Experience with GMP requirements and industry requirements for FDA regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Experience in extrusion processes is a plus.
