About the role

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeing a Senior HR Business Partner to join our team. The Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with colleagues and leadership in designated ministry and/or service lines and will act as a consultant to senior leaders on complex human resources issues. Serves as the primary point of connection between the HR functions and business leaders, providing insights in order to deliver targeted and efficient HR programs and services that drive measurable value. The Senior HR Business Partner will responsively translate current business trends and competitive markets into internal decisions and serves as a mentor to other HR Business Partners.

Position Specifics:
• Schedule: Full time, 40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday
• Location: Daily work is remote, on site in Southern, IL Market as needed

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or other relevant degree is required.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent plus five years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, preferably in healthcare, may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, Generalist, or related position operating in a complex business environment which may have included interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, programs, and processes is required.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience partnering with senior leadership or equivalent is required.
  • Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP is preferred.
