Senior PLC Programmer

A key member of the Albireo team, the PLC Programmer will perform duties to develop programming and operator interface graphics of building automation systems. These duties will include:

• Manage, update, review and maintain company PLC programming standards.
• Review and update control programs and operator interfaces for existing sites.
• Develop control programs and operator interfaces for new projects.
• Visit sites for testing, commissioning, or troubleshooting of control systems with field technicians as required.
• Create and modify BAS control diagrams in Plain English as described in project documents and control sequences.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years PLC programming experience.
• Solid technical background, with understanding and hands-on experience in building automation, HVAC, lighting, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Alerton and Tridium Programming preferred.
• Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance required.
• Excellent computer skills and intimate familiarity with MS-Office products (Word, Excel, Access), AutoCAD, Visual Basic, Visio and Alerton/Tridium products.
