MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Logistician to join our vehicle sustainment team in Warren, Michigan. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides leadership and management for all assigned logisticians and supply clerks.

  • Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of a firm or organization.

  • Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.

  • Record, maintain, and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of qualified logistical experience and a bachelor’s degree (OR) 15+ years of qualified logistical experience. 

    • Must possess at least one year of documented qualified experience in military STAMIS or GCSS systems, or applicable commercial Logistics Management Information System (LMIS). 

  • Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts. 

  • Experience in inventory and requisition supplies and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment. 

  • Experience in operating material and handling equipment. 

  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.

  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
