Job Description
Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Sr. Software Engineer at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Setup software project structure according to software project targets. Manage software requirement from analysis to acceptance. Plan and ensure delivery of software work packages. Control the software cost according to the software project budget. Ensure software quality and compliance with software development process. Inform software project status and escalate for software project barriers. Ensure achievement of the software project targets. Analyze requirement-based verification tracking results (software). Report software -Project Status to Management in PRC-Level4. Gather and interpret technical systems specifications from both internal and external clients; designs innovative electronic control systems, utilizing cutting-edge microprocessors, device drivers and peripherals, data acquisition and communications hardware, and related real-time systems software using C/C++, Assembly, CAPL and CANoe. Use micro controllers for testing and debugging (hardware and software systems) using in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, numerical analysis, and related computer engineering techniques, including automotive communication protocols viz. UDS based on CAN. Use MKS Integrity for configuration management; CANoe for rest-bus-simulation; GHS for compiler, Renesas flasher, Vector Tools like Geny for configuration of communication stack and code generation, interfacing of application on post code generation; Vector tool -vFlash for adaptation to internal & external protocol for reflashing station solution. Perform memory, runtime measurement using proprietary tools. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience in Embedded Software Development for Automotive Safety Systems. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1.Function safety ISO26262, Automotive Embedded Systems, and Vehicle Architecture; 2. Airbag software functionality, AB-ECU, vehicle configurations, ECU algorithms/calibration, System Overview (including HW and Sensors), sensors diagnostics and In-vehicle network control; and Knowledge in C/C++, CANOE and CAPL for development and debugging; 3. Scope Management (Requirement Development and Work package Breakdown) and Change Management (CCB process, Change Request, Task); 4. Configuration Management (Tool configuration and Document Control) and Risk Management (Risk Identification and Mitigation Action); 5. Risk Management (Risk Identification and Mitigation Action) and Cost Management (Cost Estimation and Budget Plan); and 6. Quality Management (8D, Defect Management and Quality Process) and SW Development Process Tools Knowledge (Doors, MKS, ALM, ILM, and Jenkins). Apply Below.
