The Mission of the Senior Payroll Specialist
Manage accurate global payroll cycles and reporting to support compliance within a scaling finance team.
On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Payroll Specialist will work as a part of the Global Payroll Team to oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across all payroll cycles.
The candidate will be joining a high-growth, company where needs are constantly changing. This is a permanent role within the broader finance team to support payroll reporting, drive process improvements, and ensure alignment with internal controls and statutory requirements.

Expected Outcomes & Requirements

- Oversee and execute accurate end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and timely delivery across all payroll cycles.

Requirements
Role-specific Competences
- 3-5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Experience with third-party vendors
- Fluent verbal and written English language is necessary.
- Local labor and payroll legislation knowledge for one or several of these countries: Finland, Greece, Poland, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Japan, the United States.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage large volumes of data.
- Proficiency in payroll and HRIS systems, along with strong Excel skills for data validation and reporting.
- Analytical mindset, capable of identifying discrepancies, solving problems, and improving processes.
- Excellent time-management skills, ensuring deadlines are consistently met across payroll cycles.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with HR, Finance, and external vendors.
