Position Overview: AAA Fire Protection is seeking an experienced, dedicated Lead Technician to join our growing team. The Lead Technician plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with all NFPA standards (NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, and NFPA 25) and maintaining our commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage field teams on-site to ensure accurate, timely, and safe completion of fire sprinkler system installations, repairs, and inspections.
• Read and interpret design plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct system testing and inspections in compliance with NFPA 25 standards, maintaining accurate documentation of inspections and test results.
• Ensure the safety of all field personnel, enforcing strict adherence to OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions, providing high-quality repairs and maintenance.
• Mentor and train apprentices and junior technicians to develop a strong, skilled workforce.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors, project managers, customers, and inspectors to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicles in excellent condition.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in fire sprinkler system installation, service, and inspections.
• Demonstrated expertise and certification in NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, NFPA 14, and NFPA 25 standards.
• Valid Sprinkler Fitter certification/license or ability to obtain certification in Colorado.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
